背景偏好：Applicants must have completed, or expect to complete prior to commencing the doctorate, a bachelor degree with first class honours or upper-second class honours (or equivalent) in civil engineering, safety engineering, process (chemical) engineering, mechanical engineering or related fields.

English language requirement (ielts, overall 6.5, speaking, writing, reading and listening 6.0; or toefl, 570 paper based, 230 computer based or 90 internet based (22 each section)). applicants with master degrees having technical publications and research experiences are preferred.
