Transcript:
Unofficial academic transcripts from each post-secondary institution attended must be submitted, including all marks and the awarding of degrees. Official academic transcripts (received in a closed university envelope) are only required if you are offered admission

Curriculum Vitae:
A curriculum vitae/resumé indicating your past academic and professional experience

Personal Statement:
A statement explaining why you would like to do graduate work in Recreation and Leisure Studies, and the particular area of research that you are interested in pursuing. If you are applying to the PhD program, please also indicate two or three faculty members with whom you anticipate working (see faculty members' research interests)

Recommendation Letter:
Doctoral programs require three completed reference forms. (If unable to supply three academic references, please obtain two academic and one from an employer).

Other Document:
Completion of Master of Arts thesis

Writing Sample:
A substantial example of written work (in English) completed within the last two years of study, or a professional report which demonstrates your competency in writing
