Personal Statement:
Personal statement, 500 words or less, of your current position on the discipline of architecture. Please be specific about influential courses, instructors, books, personal or professional experiences, and goals.
Recommendation Letter:
Three letters of recommendation: Please identify in your application the names of persons who will be writing recommendations. You are strongly encouraged to arrange for at least one from a person who knows your academic work. The individuals will receive an automated email message requesting a letter of recommendation on your behalf.
Work samples, or portfolio of creative work :
Work samples, or portfolio of creative work (50 MB upload limit) – Applicants for Real Estate Development and for Historic Preservation need not submit a portfolio or work sample, though at its discretion the Admissions Committee may request an example of academic or professional writing. For all others, the portfolio is meant to demonstrate one’s creative ability. Given the diversity of our applicants, portfolios reflect a wide array of creative expression. Portfolios may include drawings, models, creative writing, sculpture, journalism, painting, photography, documentation, or other professional works.
