The personal statement should include four separate paragraphs, each addressing one of the following topics:
1. Describe your academic preparation, achievements and interests.
2. Which of the following program options do you want to pursue and what skills do you hope to learn after completing that option?

* Environmental Microbiology
* Exposure Assessment (PhD only)
* Pollution Prevention and Control
3. Which of the programâ¿¿s faculty member(s) do you want to work with and why? You are encouraged to contact faculty in the program to gauge compatibility and investigate options for financial support if needed.
4. What are your career goals after you complete your graduate studies at Rutgers?
