Upload undergraduate (and if applicable, graduate) transcripts as supporting materials(http://gradstudy.rutgers.edu/apply/supporting-materials). Please refer to http://gradstudy.rutgers.edu/apply/before-you-apply for more information.
Curriculum Vitae:
A CV should summarize your academic and professional background, listing education, degrees, research and/or teaching experiences, publications, and/or any other information relevant to your qualifications for graduate admission.
Personal Statement:
Again, this is an important part of the application. The statement is usually about 500 words long, explaining in detail why the applicant is drawn to the Chemistry program at Rutgers-Newark, and touches on why the applicant will succeed as a Ph.D. student.
Recommendation Letter:
Recommendation letters (3) from professors, supervisors, or the equivalent. In the American school system, recommendation letters are very important and not just a formal requirement. They should be as detailed and as distinctive as possible. Ideally, letter writers should have had a direct professional relationship with the applicant, and should be familiar with the applicant's strengths and overall professional personality.
